- How do I Pay My Assessments?
- Assessments may be paid in several ways. If your community provides monthly coupons, you may simply send a check or money order along with the coupon to our office. If your community sends a statement, just include your check or money order along with the return portion of the statement. For your convenience, we also offer ACH Payments (automatic withdrawal directly from your account). You just need to complete and submit the ACH form available on your Community Web Site, along with a cancelled check. Your assessment will then be automatically withdrawn from your account. You can also come in to our office to make a payment in person. We accept checks, money orders and exact-change cash, but no debit or credit cards. You can also pay your assessments on line through your Community Web Site using a debit or credit card. Simply choose the “Make Online Payement” box and follow the directions. You will need to know your Southwest Management Group, Inc. account number that is located on your coupon or statement in order to use this feature. If you cannot locate your account number, please call our office and we will be happy to give it to you. (Please note that there is a service charge for using the pay online option.)
- How do I obtain approval to make changes to the appearance of my home or landscaping?
- Depending on the community you live in, you may need to submit an Architectural Application. Once submitted, you will need to wait for the HOA approval before you start your project. If you live in a sub-association and have a master association, you will need to submit to them to receive approval, as well. Please refer to your CC & R’s or contact our office if you have questions. ARC forms are available on your Community Web Site.
- Where in the CC & R’s do I find what I need to read and know about living in my community?
- It is very important for you to read through your CC & R’s and other governing documents to further acclimate yourself to your community. It is encouraged that you familiarize yourself with the “Use Restriction” section to reference information about non-compliance (violation) issues. If your community utilizes Rules & Regulations, this will further detail more of the items referred to in the Use Restriction section of your CC & R’s. If you have a tenant residing in your home, it is advisable to provide them with copies of the governing documents as well. As the owner, you are responsible for the home and any violations that may occur.
- I have sold my home, so why am I still receiving bills and other correspondence?
- If you no longer own your home for whatever reason, please contact our office at 702-871-5177.
- Where do I purchase gate remotes or community keys?
- Depending on the community, some are available at our office and some through outside vendors. Please call our office and we can direct you to the appropriate place to obtain these items.
- What do I do if I have a complaint?
- Any complaints about the community or violations that have been witnessed will need to be submitted to our office in writing via letter or email. Contact our office for email address information.
